Al-Tiba9 Art Magazine is an independent artist-run international publication that showcases experimental and progressive contemporary art, featuring artists with a primary focus on contemporary visual art reflecting modern society and its environment, provoking conversation and action; fostering innovation and diversity of mediums which make today’s art scene so intriguing.
The magazine includes features on art for artists from around the globe, it aims to give the spotlight and to provide a unique art space for artists. It aims also to create a space where individual artists can freely express themselves and engages the selected artists with our readers and followers every day through our social media, website, and print and digital issues.

Since its foundation in 2013 in Algeria, Al-Tiba9 Contemporary has aimed to seize, in a particular way, the social reality of creating an interface between the West and the Arab world through contemporary art. Al-Tiba9 Gallery, inaugurated in October 2023 in Barcelona, Spain, represents and exhibits well-known, established artists from different backgrounds. It also introduces emergent artists to the international scene, primarily focusing on contemporary art reflecting modern society and its environment, encouraging innovation and diversity of mediums, potentially engaging today's art scene.
The gallery space is 300 sqm in El Born, the old town of Barcelona, near several renewed museums such as the European Modern Art Museum, Picasso Museum, Moco Museum, and the Chocolate Museum.
Founded by Mohamed Benhadj, an independent curator with a decade-long experience working with established artists, museums, and collectors, The Gallery runs several programs to promote international artists and invites art professionals through art exhibitions, talks, publications, online events, and much more.

Seven artworks from the collections of galleries that belong to the Galeries d'Art de Catalunya (GAC) association will blend for a few weeks with the works in the permanent collection of the Víctor Balaguer Library-Museum, creating five dialogues based on aesthetic and conceptual relationships, as well as unexpected encounters throughout the museum’s itinerary.
