Al-Tiba9 Gallery announces its second participation in the ARTESANTANDER fair 2026.

Al-Tiba9 Gallery presents Constructed Realities, a dialogue between Barry Wolfryd, Dimitris Ntokos, Serge Gualini, whose practices explore the construction of imagery and symbolic language within the contemporary experience.
Barry Wolfryd’s practice is grounded in the exploration of symbols and cultural imagery that resonate within collective memory. His compositions unfold as poetic constructions, inviting viewers to navigate layered meanings and question how visual language shapes perception.
Dimitris Ntokos develops a visual system based on structure and repetition. His works evoke coded languages and archetypal forms, where each element contributes to a broader visual lexicon. Extending this approach into space, his small-scale sculptures function as a constellation of forms, reinforcing the idea that meaning is constructed through accumulation and variation.
Serge Gualini approaches historical imagery through a hybrid practice that combines classical references with digital and algorithmic processes. His works reinterpret visual languages drawn from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, introducing subtle alterations that transform familiar compositions into spaces of ambiguity, where identity and memory are continuously reconfigured.
The works on paper presented at Arte Santander 2026 articulate a space in which reality is continuously constructed and transformed through cultural memory and symbolic transformation. The exhibition invites a contemplative experience in which images oscillate between familiarity and abstraction.
