Timofey Malyarov creates art as a means of self-realisation, not simply to show who he is, but to become fully himself.
For him, art is a way to manifest its inner structure, giving it form, colour, and rhythm. As an artist, Malyarov works directly with the physical embodiment of energy, material itself. Colour and texture are the key visual characteristics that he explores. To him, they are more than mere visual effects; they represent a flow. When colour interacts with texture, takes shape, and engages with other colours, it creates tension and evokes feeling. He seeks harmony as a state where energy moves freely. When these elements align, power emerges. His artistic goal is to guide this flow, discovering the precise point where everything is in its place, not static, but alive; not perfect, but true. This is how he experiences composition: as a dynamic structure. Malyarov sees art as something to be felt rather than explained. His abstract compositions evoke moods, emotions, and internal sensations instead of presenting a clear narrative. Through his work, he seeks to inspire a shift within the viewer, whether it's a fresh perspective, a sudden impulse, or a subtle inner transformation.
Born in 1989, Timofey Malyarov received his higher education at the R.E. Alekseev Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University and began his artistic career in 2010 with experiments in textile dyeing, transitioning to abstract art and graphic practices in 2019.
Solo exhibitions of his works have been held in cultural institutions in Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod. He currently lives and works in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia.
Zhi-Jiang Shan is an interior designer known for his cross-cultural design sensibility and poetic spatial expression. He often draws inspiration from classical Chinese landscapes, local craftsmanship, and symbolic spatial rituals, transforming them into immersive environments that resonate with modern life. His projects are not only functional but emotionally engaging.
