ArtsLibris Barcelona, the International Fair for Artist Books, Photobooks, and Self-Publishing, will take place on October 10, 11, and 12 at the MACBA, Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona. This year, on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of ArtsLibris, we would like to invite you to participate in this very special edition. ArtsLibris offers a unique opportunity to present your publishing project to the public and meet with colleagues in the professional sector, with the aim of establishing the necessary synergies to grow the cultural fabric of our environment.
The spaces where the stands will be located are the Capella, the Sala Gòtica, and the Auditori. The Seminar and Speakers Corner sessions will be held in the Auditori.

Luna Xue is a versatile visual artist whose practice spans painting, installation, 3D art, and bookmaking. With a background in illustration and extensive experience in the arts, her work explores themes of female identity, intergenerational trauma in Asian families, and sexual violence, blending traditional techniques with contemporary perspectives.
Marika Junikajtes is a mixed media artist based near Frankfurt, Germany. Her work spans expressive portraiture, abstract compositions, and fantastical worlds, each rooted in personal experience and emotional symbolism. She paints on canvas using acrylics, oils, and pouring mediums. Her portraits explore themes of identity, vulnerability, and strength through a lens of abstract realism.
Venture Awaits started to create photography in childhood. Always in awe of nature's beauty, photography became a way to express his appreciation for the environment around him. Through each image, Venture Awaits invites others to pause, look closer, and rediscover the beauty that surrounds us. Immerse yourself in the venture that this world has to offer.
Heliwan is a multidisciplinary artist and art director whose practice moves fluidly between 3D art, painting, and photography. With a background in visual storytelling and over nine years of experience in creative direction, his work explores the boundaries between the digital and the tactile, the constructed and the organic.
Linda He is a visual artist based in San Francisco, California. Her practice explores the intersection of individual experience, emotional memory, and the complexities of intimacy and social interaction. Working primarily with acrylic on canvas, her paintings often combine abstraction with symbolic figuration and bold contrasts, capturing the nuanced rhythms of closeness, hesitation, and relation.
Gennady Lakoba is a Georgia artist currently based in Spain. He focuses on bronze and marble sculpture and drawings for tapestry projects. His use of shape analysis in his work allows him to read the human figure and any object. Gennady Lakoba strives to bring the presence of sculpture into the drawing as much as possible.
Paulina Wróblewska is a self-taught Polish artist specialising in large-scale, hyperrealistic acrylic paintings. Her work focuses on animals, often portrayed in striking, emotionally resonant compositions that blend photographic precision with a strong painterly presence. Based in Poznań, Poland, she has quickly gained recognition for her technical skill and unique visual language.
Bogdan Kanuka is a multidisciplinary artist working with printmaking, painting, and sculpture. He focuses on linocut and monotype, using these techniques to explore how repetition, variation, and gesture can tell open-ended stories. His prints often include symbolic animals or invented figures that suggest inner states, memory, and change.
Gerardo Labarca is a self-taught painter based in Canada. His works are primarily portraits, capturing the essence of his subjects through meticulous attention to detail, blending precision and lightness while conveying emotions. He draws inspiration from timeless icons and wildlife, aiming to raise public awareness about its preservation.
Mikala Clarise Martinez is a painter who lives in Los Angeles, California. She makes figurative abstract paintings primarily on unstretched canvas. Martinez focuses on using the environment surrounding her space as compositions for her paintings. She lets her intuition guide the colours that are chosen, along with the movements that are made by brush or palette knife.
Valya Papadopoulou is a fashion Illustrator and designer with a background in chemical engineering, raised in Canada and currently based in Athens, Greece. A self-taught multidisciplinary artist, her work is deeply influenced by the intersection of these two distinct cultural and academic experiences, blending precision with artistic expression.
Min Kun Li (Sam Fisher) is a new media creator and art educator active at the forefront of digital art. His creations are based on digital media, completing the deconstruction of art and the contemporary translation of religious culture, and constructing a field with both spiritual and technological characteristics in virtual space.
Wataru Furuta is a photographer and graphic designer based in Tokyo, Japan. In the series Hazama, Furuta focuses on the relationship between our memory and vision. He uses visual effects to blend the holy places he has seen with other landscapes that are traditionally and philosophically associated with those places, attempting to evoke the images that people have had of those places.
Tinmin is a contemporary abstract artist known for pioneering an innovative technique that uses a lint roller to extract and manipulate fibres from vintage garments and fibrous materials. He transforms these elements into vibrant, textured compositions on paper, breathing new purpose and life into them. His work is characterised by striking abstract imagery, rich in colour and depth.
Sondra Bernstein’s work is a testament to the evolving landscape of art in the digital age, challenging conventional notions and embracing new technologies. Her journey is a vivid example of lifelong learning and adaptation, proving that creativity knows no bounds.
Buer Guo is a contemporary Chinese artist whose practice explores universal values through a deeply personal lens shaped by mythology, philosophy, and cross-cultural experience. Her paintings question the limits of human perception and imagination, aiming to expand the viewer’s sensory awareness and relationship with the world.
Vierdamme is the artistic duo of Marleen Vandamme and Dennis Vieren, a portmanteau that embodies the fusion of their distinct creative voices, exploring the depths of identity, emotion, and connection. Their work is deeply personal, reflecting an ongoing artistic conversation between two distinct yet harmonized perspectives.
Yanlin Song is a multidisciplinary illustrator based in Shanghai. She believes that human beings are part of nature and should accept the inevitable withering and death as gracefully as plants do. After 24 years of recovering from anxiety, Lin began to use plants with female gender symbols in her paintings as a way of provoking reflection on the unseen feminine.
Jameel Haiat is an American/Mexican artist, currently based in Thailand. His creation of each piece, through the act of tearing paper and cardboard, is both deconstructive and violent, while reassembling the torn elements is reconstructive and peaceful, which addresses these emotional issues not only in the final completed work but in the actual creation of the work as well.
Jacqueline Heer is a conceptual artist who works with diverse techniques, media, and materials to construct immersive mental and physical spaces. Her practice focuses on the relationship between perception and reality, challenging conventional boundaries and inviting viewers to engage in deeper contemplation of their surroundings and their role within them.
Anne-Marie Chikhany (2000) is a Lebanese artist and iconographer whose work spans a wide range of artistic styles. Together with sacred art, she explores contemporary and Abstract painting, using colour as a central element to evoke emotions and invite introspection. Her artistic philosophy is rooted in the belief that art is a bridge between emotions and the viewer.
Petra Štefanková is an award-winning fine and digital artist published all around the world. Now based in Slovakia, she spent some time living in London in the United Kingdom and travelled to the USA, Australia, France or Germany to develop a professional artist presence. Her work reflects her travel and life experiences often using the automatic drawing method.
Oleg's artworks are about curiosity and attention to detail, about learning about the world. In his works, Oleg strives to emphasize various details, sometimes invisible to the eye. Watercolor prints created from photographs carry more emotions and mood, showing the artist's vision. He tries to convey the feeling of the place, to capture its magic.
Silvia Gallart is a Swiss-Spanish graphic designer and artist based in Zurich, Switzerland. Her style has evolved from hand drawings and digital & analog collages to vector art, mixed media, and digital collage art. Silvia sees creativity as a way of integrating different fields into one, for example, graphic design, vinyl foil art, and collage art.
Minni Mäkinen (b. 2003, Helsinki, Finland) is a visual artist and photographer currently based in Switzerland. Her art explores themes of change, transition, and identity, deeply rooted in her personal experience of growing up internationally. Constant movement between cultures and environments sparked her interest in how change shapes who we are, a theme she often explores in her work.
Harini Rajeev’s work mostly portrays experimenting with different mediums, such as charcoal and watercolor, as well as the relationships between them. A couple of her pieces also explore her feelings as she battles through the many road bumps of adolescence.
Roberto Bocchini is an Italian multidisciplinary visual. For several years, he served as a stage photographer, before transitioning to painting and visual arts. Using his images, fused with multiple drawing techniques, he induces a profound abstract process of reconstruction and contamination, aimed, in some cases, even at showing the artist's more tormented side.
Daria Koshkina is a multidisciplinary artist and designer working at the intersection of data and figurative digital art. Her work focuses on change, the pursuit of well-being, and the immigration experience of women. Through animation, digital painting, and data art, she explores how the reality of facts overlaps the subjective yet very real space of a personal experience.
Zaira Ballesteros was born in Mexico, and she is an emerging artist and actress. Zaira's work is a reflection of her inner world, which encapsulates her deep thoughts and emotions. Through her creations, you can perceive her insatiable curiosity about the world and see her imagination. She is interested in human emotions, hidden emotions, silence, solitude, the unknown, and desire.
Beatrice Sartori is a contemporary collage artist based in Switzerland. Self-taught, she has developed her own technique of artistic cutting and collage, a discipline that she explores with passion. Her style is precise, graphic, modern, and colorful. She addresses themes that are close to her heart, such as joy, respect, and peaceful relationships.
Claudiu Anica, working under Quantum Void Studios, is a contemporary abstract expressionist artist whose work delves deep into themes of entrapment, rage, inner conflict, and personal struggle. Claudiu's work is a raw expression of subconscious emotions, often evoking intense feelings of release through chaotic compositions. His creations explore the depths of human experience.
Bhagyashri Khandare is a self-taught artist who found her artistic voice after completing her architecture studies. She specializes in stippling, a labor-intensive technique that involves creating images with millions of tiny dots. Her art is both minimalistic and complex, and her unique style has garnered attention for its meditative quality and intricate detail.
Djamila Fierek was born and raised in Wiesbaden, Germany, by an Algerian Father and a German Mother. She is a passionate artist who paints vibrant works in mixed media. Based in Munich and Scottsdale, Djamila translates her influences through her vibrant paintings, each of which is set to evoke a positive and emotional response from the observer.
