Pauline Vidal & Charles Terpraut

Studio Lno is a French designer duo creating sustainable and trustworthy products that bring memories. Pauline Vidal & Charles Terpraut are both industrial designers. After their master's in design at Strate School of Design in Paris, they worked and traveled abroad. Inspired by their experiences in Asia and Australia, they created the brand Lno in 2021 to share their passion for design through objects and textiles. Sometimes flirting with art, the .psd collection is a good example of rug upcycling using design.

Art and objects in museums are intended to transmit and preserve memory. Inspired by this allegory, they care about creating objects that last and cross generations. To succeed, two main criteria come into play. First of all, adapting the manufacturing process to each project using methods derived from crafts or industrial know-how. The second is a judicious design where the object has the personality to create a real bond of trust with it. We live in constant contact with our objects; they are an integral part of our daily life, sometimes even interfering in the most intimate moments.
