István Dukai (b. 1987, Zenta, Yugoslavia) is a Budapest-based graphic and visual artist and art director whose works are rooted in geometric traditions, constructivism, op-art, and minimal art. His creative process is grounded in reductionism, transforming natural elements into geometric compositions that evoke both the sensuousness of fine art and the structural rigour of architecture. Dukai experiments with everyday and unconventional materials, especially hand-woven linen and rusted steel, merging craftsmanship with digital techniques. His layered works blur the boundaries between painting, relief, and sculpture, reflecting contrasts between digital and physical realities. Through these approaches, Dukai expresses tranquillity and turmoil, highlighting the beauty and transience of natural materials.

He is a leading graphic designer and art director for several European based fashion and designer brands. His work can be found in several important private collections.
